I’m Amariah — a wedding photographer, detail-obsessed Virgo, and your calm in the wedding day storm.

In 2021, I documented a friend’s wedding, and something clicked. The emotion. The pace. The way the day told a hundred stories at once. I was hooked. Now, this is what I do. Full-time, full-heartedly, and with the belief that your wedding deserves to be remembered in a way that feels like you — not a trend, not a performance, just you in all your realness.

My approach blends documentary storytelling with editorial edge, and I shoot in both digital and film to create timeless, true-to-you imagery.

Over time, I’ve become more than a photographer. I’ve become a professional observer. I notice the way your partner’s hand finds yours when no one’s watching. I can anticipate the split second before your loved one bursts into tears. I know when to quietly document and when to offer just enough direction to help you settle into the moment. 

I’m a Virgo through and through — organized, thoughtful, and always prepared (with a backup camera and snacks.)

But I’m also easygoing and warm, the calm in the room when nerves spike or timelines shift. I’m a wife,  mom of two boys, a big fan of farmer’s markets, gardening, and exploring new places with people I love. I’m drawn to the light in others — literally and metaphorically — and I believe the best photos are born from trust, presence, and real connection.

I believe that love looks different for everyone, and that every story deserves to be preserved honestly. I believe in making people feel comfortable enough to be themselves: imperfectly, beautifully, unapologetically. Your photos shouldn’t just show you what the day looked like… they should take you back to how it felt.
